Hadwin's looking pretty good. 1 shot off the lead at the moment. He's finished 2nd/t3/t6 over the last 3 years at this tournament, so should be a favorite to win.

Maybe a Canadian pga/lpga sweep is in order for the weekend?

Weir always played well in the valley/west coast swing.

Maybe there's something there for Canadians.

Unfortunately Brooke doubled the 18th to fall 2 back of the lead of Ko/Ji.

She will need a good round tomorrow to win.

I wonder how hadwin will deal with that. He’s not exactly a rookie and he’s got a victory and presidents cup appearance under his belt. But final group with Phil on a Sunday is one of those fantasy childhood things that you don’t think would ever actually happen!

So he'll start two back of Phil. Despite how amazing his weekend has been, that will have to be a daunting feeling tomorrow, especially with how loved Phil is in Arizona.

There’s a lot of Canadian golf fans in the American southwest. I imagine hadwin will have a pretty good gallery too. But the whole thing is going to be way different than anything he’s experienced. Hopefully he keeps it together ok. Even a runner up finish probably puts him in good shape to get into the masters.

It's a home game for Phil, but there will be tons of Canadians there.

Should be pretty even and will be a great round of golf.

I don't really care who wins as long as the winner is in the final pairing.

Hadwin closes the gap to 1 shot through 2. Svensson t-13

Brooke has a short birdie try on 13 to Trail by only 1. Commentators say she's had a number of 3 putts today. She misses. Damn.

Ames finishes t-13 on champions tour

Final round is pretty good so far.

I wouldn't hate Steve Marino winning either.

This is last tournament on a major medical exemption.

Hadwin ties for the lead and Phil goes and hits a drive in the water. Phil's about to go on tilt I think.

What a special day for Hadwin. Really cool for Canadian golf fans too, as a top grouping allows you to actually watch the player instead of just scoreboard watching.

He looked in complete control but really faltered on 12 and 13. Needs a birdie or two and he should be able to wrap this up.

What a great season that would set up.

Crap, looking like a third poor hole in row.

Damn, that's probably it for Hadwin. Adam Long started to lock in three holes ago, catches a birdie from off the green, Hadwin not playing horribly but not good enough to close out a tournament in the final nine.

So disappointing.
