If all three of those things happened, the Avs would have knocked your trade out of the park, over the back wall, and into the bay beyond.
A starting goalie, a top 4 defenseman, and a top 6 winger, all on the cheap, for 2 years of an over-priced, one-dimensional forward.
That would be a disastrous trade.

Seems like he has been close on a few things. Called the Russell extension a couple days before as well as the Chris Kelly PTO. Also was one of the first on the Spencer Foo signing.
Been saying Jagr to the Flames was close weeks ago. That obviously hasn't happened

I'm beginning to believe he does have some level of contact with an actual source, as he has been right on things that no one else had.

I dunno, did he? Foo is from EDM and was courted by EDM so that may still reinforce that he only has sources in that area.

He didn't have the return for Hamonic right, but he did have Hamonic+Flames before anyone else as well.
Not saying he's Bob Mckenzie, but there's enough there to generate some intrigue from my perspective.

Rumors are a tough business. You're talking about conversations. And a lot to of conversations amount to nothing. But 1 in say every thousand becomes real. Yeah they're tabloid level media hacks when you're not working for major networks but it's a job.
This Marshall has had a few hits in his short time. Is what it is.
