Lots of reports on twitter that Kimbo Slice has died of heart failure at 42.

Following a conversation with the editorial team at SB Nation, UFC will not prevent MMAFighting.com from receiving media credentials to cover live UFC events. We respect the role the media plays in our sport and beyond, including MMAFighting’s ability to report news. However, in our opinion, we believe the recurring tactics used by its lead reporter extended beyond the purpose of journalism. We feel confident our position has now been adequately communicated to the SB Nation editorial team.

UFC’s goal as the world’s leading mixed martial arts promotion is to cultivate interest in its world-class athletes and events, and deliver for the fans. We will continue to introduce this sport and its athletes to new fans across the world, and we will do so by working alongside media across all platforms.

NM...super late on that one.

Ten years ago, I was addicted to Kimbo Slice backyard brawl videos.

Guy was not great at MMA fighting, but was highly entertaining.

That's pretty young for heart failure. You would have thought that if he had heart issues they may be caught when he was training as they train hard.

Heart failure is actually common for body builders as the large amount of muscle requires the left side of the heart to "strengthen" if you will, which leads to Left Ventricular Hypertrophy, and often Congestive Heart Failure

Dana White didn't call me up for this," Lesnar said. "I made the phone call. You can't get into the Octagon half-assedly, nor would I make the call if I wanted to half-assedly get in the Octagon, because I'm smarter than that. I know how dangerous it is. It's a dangerous sport. I wouldn't put my health at risk for my family by no means. My head is in the game on this. I'm 100 percent all in. All in. No doubts in my mind. No doubt at all."

Lesnar, 38, retired from the UFC in 2011 after an incredible three-year run. He had multiple bouts with diverticulitis and lost his last two bouts to Cain Velasquez and Alistair Overeem. "The Beast" said he just wasn't himself due to the disease.

"I ended up getting beat by foes that in my mindset I should have never lost to," Lesnar said. "I lost to diverticulitis. I lost to Cain Velasquez. I lost to Alistair Overeem. I'm not here to avenge any loss other than to avenge the loss that I took to diverticulitis. I just want it.

Here's is Joe Rogan take on the Ariel firing, just showing the other spin or perspective that was/could have been painted

Unfortunate because at the end of the day I do believe like Joe states someone will be loosing their job thats innocent. I have no doubt that if the UFC was willing to go to this extreme, they will flush out they person responsible for leaking the information regardless how many heads roll.

It personally doesn't make a difference to me if the information is jumped an hour earlier but I get the feeling I would have a different perspective if I just got fired and wasn't the one leaking the information

Quote:
"I think he’s juiced to the gills — and I still think I’m going to knock him out," Hunt said.

Normally, an athlete entering the UFC ranks needs to give four months notice to assimilate to the company's anti-doping program. Lesnar, who will fight July 9, was not able to give a heads-up four months in advance of his contest due to the short-notice nature of his return.

The UFC, however, exercised an exemption, allowing Lesnar to compete despite the one-month notice.

To Hunt, the exemption is unfair.

"I don’t think that’s fair. I think it’s load of bulls***, I think it’s rubbish," Hunt said. "I don’t think anyone should be exempt from testing. If they’re trying to clean the sport up — mixed martial arts — this is a bad way to do it. I don’t care who you are. It’s ridiculous."

Hunt wasn't just airing his grievances to reporters, though. According to the 42-year-old-heavyweight, UFC President Dana White is well aware of his feelings, too.

"I’ve already voiced my opinion to Dana about it but apparently he (Lesnar) has been getting tested but he’s probably been off a couple of cycles anyway," Hunt said.
