Default Parking in Hillhurst/Sunnyside

I was wondering if the collective minds of CP had any advice on how/where to find parking in the Hillhurst/Sunnyside area. My apartment building on 10 street has had to kick all cars out of the parkade as they need to do urgent structural work (thank god I am renting and not owning this...)
Since we have private parking, we cannot get a residential parking pass, and the Calgary Parking Authority lots on 14 Street are full with months long waiting lists.
Does anyone know of other parking options for 4pm-6:30am with the odd full day? (my fiance uses the car since I can get to work on transit)
Does anyone in the area have an unused parking stall that is available for month to month rental?

Probably lots of free street parking west of 14th st if you don't mind walking 5-10 blocks. At least it is not winter.

ya, you could also try canvassing the neighbors to rent their visitor pass for the month or two so you can park on the street and not get towed. Not sure if this would work but maybe worth a try.

Or like Troutman suggested, park farther west, there should be free street parking.

Have you reached out to Druh on this yet? Would you like me to send a tweet her way?

Edit: I sent her a DM on twitter, will let you know what I hear back.

Haven't yet - didn't think of that. If you wanted to tweet Druh, I know there are a lot of people impacted, about 60 total stalls.

I am going to walk the area tomorrow to see what streets are good for parking. Hoping we can get some kind of arrangement made by the building to find parking for everyone, but I'm not holding my breath

I'm sure Bigtime will be happy to rent out his garage to you for $600/month.

I'm a nice guy, I'd make it $700. Plus you get the chance of a "car wash complete with interior detailing" in June.

And if that "chance" doesn't come, he'll just stick a brick on the gas pedal and run it into the Bow for you.

Ski West has closed for the season already... not that i'm suggesting trespassing and parking illegally on private property.

Haven't had a reply yet, it would probably be best if you email her too and explain the situation you and your neighbours are in:

She'll probably tell them to get bicycles.

Go to HSCA and buy a parking pass for the day. They're $8/day I believe.
