Just so you know the July 30 game is going to be rescheduled. Forge is playing their CONCACAF League game that night. I don't think anything has been announced regarding when that game will be played (something you'd think would be coming soon...).

Tonight is definitely the climax of the spring season. It will be fun to see how everything shapes up. A Cavalry win definitely would make everything less exciting, but that is made complicated by the fact that this is the most gruelling part of the season yet.

No doubt. My guess is that the league is waiting to see if we get knocked out of the Voyageurs Cup before announcing the new date - probably put the game on August 14 if we aren't playing in round 4. Or they'll just give the win to Forge because that's how this league works

If the result is more throw ins then that might be an advantage. Pasquotti is excellent at that and a narrower field may make some throw ins be set up like corner kicks.

Can we just buy Bekker when the window opens and watch them battle Edmonton for second-last? I've grown a healthy hatred for that club.

Agreed - on that smurf sized field put in the biggest forwards we have and play balls over the top or try to win off set pieces. Pasquotti isn't going to have much space to run.

2-0 Cavs after 35 minutes. Not a bad game so far. Really awful atmosphere in the broadcast though. They've got the stadium sound volume set even lower than Sportsnet does for Flames games.
