Also, Gurriel back in the line up with his 11 game multi hit streak on the line. O for 2 so far as well, so it's in real jeopardy.

21 games now in AAA and hes hitting .373 . that's damn impressive.

So Gibbons told Granderson he'll be playing a bench role from now on. Younger guys need at bats, makes total sense. Hopefully somebody trades for Grandy and gives him another shot at playoffs.

Not sure if this is a surprise for anyone, but Tulo is not going to play at all this season.

He hasn't played a game since July 28, 2017! Not the greatest ROI.

I don't know how he can even play next season with guys like Gurriel, Diaz, Drury, Solarte, Travis and Martin around and taking starts at 3B SS and 2B. Oh yeah, not to mention this Vlad dude as well.

Plus we still need to see how the JD situation shakes out, although I cant see the Jays bringing him back now but you never know I guess.

Drury probably gets some looks at 1B but the Jays still have Morales under contract and a no brainer option for Smoak, plus Tellez bouncing back this year and knocking on the door.

You can maybe get Gurriel and Travis some OF starts too but there is already Pillar, Grichuk, Hernandez, McKinney, Smith Jr and Alford floating around.

Lots of bodies and depth thats for sure.

Wow some sweet D by the Jays in the 1st. Jansen guns out buddy at 2nd and Diaz with a great diving play at 3B. He's looked solid in that spot.

Smoak with another great pick on the Diaz throw.

Smoak is going to be so important at 1st when the Guerrero's and Bichette's start showing up. Him being able to scoop and pick throws in the dirt and save those guys errors is going to be huge for their confidence and their development at the big league level. What he does with the bat is a bonus.

And smoak just saved his arse there.
