Marshall with a huge moment there! Yuge!!

The Scottish defence completely left in the dust.

Lovren should get a red card and really, really get suspended.

If they're losing or drawn near the end of the match I could easily see Lovren doing something insane.

What are the Scots doing??

They got blown wide open twice and now they leave Modric in acres of space?

You have to close him down.

Luka Modric is still a magician with the ball at his feet.

Scotland not good enough on the day. Manager’s decisions were baffling too. We have some very good players but the supporting cast is just nowhere near the same level. Hopefully with the likes of Gilmour coming through we can do a bit better next time around.

You just described 800 years of Scottish history.

Gg.

Scotland is always a team I cheer for in major tournaments with the only exception being today.

Scotland fans were absolutely buzzing and that is something to be happy about too.

He literally should just change his last name to 'Wow.'

Just put that on the back of his Jersey.

In fairness, they got beat by a very, very good team. Perisic's finishing on Modric's magic. They didnt get played off the pitch or anything and I think they acquitted themselves really well, but the talent on Croatia was just too much.

I dont think the Scots have anything to feel too sad about there.

Lots for Scotland to be proud of.

I will say, they really needed to take some of the shackles off of McTominay. When he really started moving around he made some good plays, have him a little farther forward because Robertson will find him and generate some more chances.

It was a good game overall, lots of fun to watch as a neutral.

Hope the Scots can build but their history has been painful. That's now 11 tournaments (World Cup or Euros) that they've failed to get out of the group stage. They have played in tournaments with 8, 16, 24 and 32 teams. And they've had some famous wins too but just haven't gotten over the line. And they gone out on goal difference quite a few times, just bad luck.

Scotland, as it seems to be the theme in this tournament, need a striker in the worst way. With a decent striker in this tournament they probably would have gone through. They generated more xG than England did for instance, just #### finishing cost them.

Yep, Lyndon Dykes is not the answer. I’d rather they had played Nisbet and even had Shankland in the squad. Both can take a chance. Dykes didn’t really achieve anything.

Agree on McTominay too. The problem is that moving him forward leaves a gap in the D that there is really no-one else to fill.

Anyways, on to the next one. Would like to see Croatia do well now.

Marshall

Cooper - Henley - Tierney

Armstrong - McGinn - McTominay - Gilmour - Robertson

Dykes - Adams

think that would make way more sense than how they actually set up. McTominay needs to be in midfield and I feel Armstrong is better on the right. Not ideal (eg I think the right would be a bit vulnerable), but the best setup I could think of.
