The advantage for the group winner would be staying in London and not having to travel, especially for England. We'll have to see how tomorrow shapes up but Would you rather play Portugal at Wembley or Spain in Copenhagen? Sweden could get 7 points and win that group. Also Runner-up D, if they win, would get France in the quarters.



If the seeds hold. Italy, Belgium, France are in the top half. Holland, England and Spain are in the bottom half. If Spain finish second, they flip over to the top half. So I think there are a lot more advantages for England to win the group.
