Launch is the first time a private company has sent astronauts to space, the first crewed launch from US soil since 2011 and the first crewed launch in Nasa's Commercial Crew programme.
Launch was a success, as was the landing of the 1st stage booster on a drone ship!
This is the news from America I am choosing to follow today

What an effing fail! They didn't show the launch! When it was counting down at 20 the rocket was already in the air! hahaha
and then when they stupidly replayed the launch for 10 seconds the main rocket landed on the ship and they didn't show it! LMFAO!!!
Where were you watching? The launch went perfectly on NASA’s YouTube. The landing wasn’t shown but that’s not the first time. Still, it’s hardly a fail.
Huh am I missing something? I saw it live on tv.. YouTube.. Twitter.
Ugh. It was my fault. I normally watch it on youtube, but i wanted to show my kids on a bigger screen....
So disappointed! .. but wait the 2nd best part is coming up! The main rocket returning to earth onto a ship so it can be reused!!
Shows replay of the launch for 10 seconds. Cuts back to the live video and the rocket is already sitting on the ship.
They'll never listen to me ever again.

What he's getting at is this video is the equivalent of the CNN feed of the launch.
You should have let them stew on it... haha
CNN reporter Rachel Crane is going to be super pissed when she finds out. She was so emotional about this launch she was in tears reporting it 2 mins earlier.

I don't blame CNN for that one. I was watching the SpaceX feed, they lost the feed from the droneship when I was watching, once the video was back the rocket was already on the pad.
Well, it's nice to see that given that governments have apparently abandoned space programs as a worthwhile human pursuit, someone is still moving the species forward.

Uh huh.
I can think of a few people I'd like to fire into space. And I think with 'Jeff Bezos' money I could probably make that happen.
