Is there a secret CP trick to getting the video to show the first frame of the video instead of a black screen?

And what's a musical number? Isn't a 'song' a 'musical number'? Or do they mean an instrumental?

Not the best by any means but the "Eddie and the Cruisers" soundtrack by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band was pretty good.

And of course half of the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack was excellent.

Just paste the end of the youtube link, after the = sign, into the youtube tag. The video above was GgIsyoxZ7Uw

Burn would have been my number one, but it's already in the article. I don't even like The Cure and I love that song.

Here's a good original song from a soundtrack. Right up there imo.

This was a classic back in the day too.

Best opening verse ever, best soundtrack ever, the movie kinda sucks but whatever, it was worth being made for the music.

Alright, this thread got me searching for something. One of my favorite all time movies is Abel Ferrera's King of New York. In the movie there is a scene at a club that has a version of a song that (as far as I could tell) was never released for public consumption. Until the magic of youtube, and a very bored computer nerd/awesome movie guy.

From Brain Candy. Another hilarious video -- Spiral Stairs recruits the band members of Veruca Salt to replace members of Pavement.

From Suburbia. Sunday would appear a year later on the "A Thousand Leaves" album but made its first appearance a year earlier on this soundtrack.

One of the great songs of the 80s. From the Sid & Nancy soundtrack.

From Beautiful Girls:

From Kids.

From I Shot Andy Warhol.

Teenage Fanclub and De La Soul team up on this song from Judgment Night.

I'm going to cheat with the next one as I think it counts as a score but a great track from Requiem For a Dream by Clint Mansell and the Kronos Quartet

Thought of another one! Man, I could do this all night. From Robert Altman's masterpiece "Nashville".

From "Battle Royale", which was the source for The Hunger Games films. This song would appear a year later on Dragon Ash's album "Lily of Da Valley".
