I assume this will be like the usual Brooks concerts where he'll just keep adding shows as each one sells out.

Since Edmonton made such a big deal out of their 9 sellouts last year (which surpassed Saskatoon's 6), we should make sure Calgary hits 10. Even if you're not a fan, it's your duty as a Calgarian to outdo Edmonton.
Unfortunately can only max out at 7 because of a show on the 16th.

I am actually hoping I can finally get tickets to see this guy..

I had given up on getting tickets, but a woman from the office had more free time than me, so she secured me a pair of floor tickets on Sunday.

I now have some serious bank with the wife

This idea is crazy enough that it should work.....

I wonder if Garth could do a 100 shows in one location and sell out all shows. I also wonder how many other artists out there today have that kind of a draw power

It's a little combersome and takes time but it got me tickets to Garth in Edmonton and The Hip in both Edmonton and Calgary last year. Apparantly the online servers just get jammed with people in que so easily that when you phone in tickets are available.

One Love obvs didn't sell enough tickets this year (which is weird because the lineup is solid) so now theyre giving GA tix away:

Makes sense since the infrastructure will be in place all weekend anyway for Chasing Summer as wellm

Garth Brooks?! Don't get the insane hype for this guy. I honestly don't think I would attend for free. Still, very impressive that an artist can sell out that many shows and tickets in one location. Not many out there can do that.

Was anyone at the Rodriquez concert on Thursday? I'm trying to figure out who the opening act was. Female solo artist originally from Edmonton, has recorded one album in Nasville and is working on her second (I believe). She was quite good and I'd like to research her music further.

Wow, looks like Arcade Fire is about to fall from grace in a major way. Solid album after solid album and they were an arena seller.

Now they put out a poorly received new album at the same time as they tried the "super star" set up for their arena shows and nobody's buying tickets. That's gotta sting. They opened up the entire arena, including behind the stage and I can't remember the last time a Dome show sold this badly.

Roger Daltrey of The Who played to 3000 people there, which was so small that a band and fans can't even ignore the embarrassment of the venue vs attendance. This show looks to have about 4500 tickets sold and major shows rarely get a major boost of sales after they've been on sale for awhile. Still thousands left in the lower bowl and pretty much the entire second tier is still unsold with maybe another 1000 ticket sales coming if they're lucky.

This is likely a simple answer, but with the requirement for the upcoming Garth Brooks concerts that ticket holders all must present both an ID, and the credit card used to purchase the tickets when arriving at the venue, does that have any effect on buying tickets from Stubhub? I wasn't able to get tickets when they went on sale and I'd love to take my wife but I'm not sure how this would work.
