Obviously the most important games (Flames wise) tonight is:

5:00pm MT - Dallas Stars vs. Washington Capitals
6:00pm MT - Nashville Predators vs. Minnesota Wild

Calgary win and a minny loss and things look a bit brighter.

At some point the Hockey Gods have to reward the Flames.

Using the term Hockey Gods is offensive to those who believe in the cult of advanced stats. There is not such thing as Hockey Gods. Everything is quantifiable. DUH!

There are no games on national television



All games are on

Howitzer pointed out the two big OOT games of the night.

The Senators-Islanders game is big for the Islanders because a win or a single point will put them in first place overall. The Capitals need to win because the Bruins are just two points back of them.

What happened to the Oilers improving after the coaching change? It's pretty unfathomable that they could still be the worst team in the league after all these years of picking top 5.
