Calgary RCMP Officer ordered to Resign for allegedly grooming a teen

According to the article, apparently this guy was coaching in the Hockey Super League up until this hearing was finished this week.

I get innocent until proven guilty but I wouldn't let a 600lb guy watch my pizza for me just because he said he was on a diet.

Yeah this was an ALA incident, I wonder if HSL would have responded the same way, I reckon they would, but have seen some sketchy #### with spring hockey teams.

Who knows? I heard from a friend he was suspended from the Airdrie Minor Hockey for failing a vulnerability check back in 2019.

Does that mean that HSL doesn't do checks?

Kilbride said the ALA immediately determined that Martin's behaviour was "well beyond" the scope of internal discipline so the lacrosse association "immediately" reported the relationship to RCMP, as did the girl's family.

"There's absolutely zero room for this within our organizational structure," said Kilbride.

"It's just another alert that these people are out there and they worm their way into our most sacred areas and we have to be vigilant."

It doesn't look like HSL did any poking around.

Alberta Lacrosse took action which they should.
