I don't think Nuno is solely a defensive coach, he got a reputation for it the last few seasons at wolves but he can play open as well

Still not happy about becoming the new London office of the Jorge Mendes money laundering operation

Silly United walking away last year when they could have had him for 35M more. If only they had listened to our resident clowns from last year.

Now. Get rid of Pogba.

Gilmour off on loan to Norwich. I think this is a really good, underrated move for everyone involved. I think Gilmour is very good and will really help the canaries, and will get a ton of tough minutes for development.

wondered where he'd end up, felt like half the league wanted him. Norwich is a really good landing spot IMO, he'll play plenty and that's all that matters.

United officially sign Tom Heaton ... and also re-sign Lee Grant, wtf. They better find a taker for De Gea now or that simply makes no sense.

That could be interesting.

funny thing is, he replaced Lucien Favre at Nice a couple of years ago ... now Palace wanted to hire Favre, but he gets cold feet in the last minute and so they turn to Vieira instead lol.

saw he finished 7th with Nice in 2019 after scoring 30 goals in 38 games. Almost impressive in a way ...

Wolves were super boring this past season but it somewhat made sense given the personnel/injury situation

Wolves the two years prior were a fairly fun counter attacking team.

Wolves in the championship were very fun to watch. (Probably due to the skill gap) Perhaps with better personnel we get the old Nuno

Arsenal is the subject of the latest "All or Nothing" on Amazon. RyanAir tweeted that "unfortunately for us, this will feature no European travel" lol

Rashford is now set to have shoulder injury, he'll be out for about 12 weeks. Not too surprising, many expected this ... but man, I wish he had chosen to have surgery right after the season instead of going to the Euros. I know, hindsight and all, but still.

on the bright side, Sancho had his medical today and reports on Varane are still positive. Fingers crossed.

An Everton player has been arrested on the suspicion of child sex offences. Legally can't be named, but he's a 31 year old international ... not hard to figure out. Disgusting stuff, hopefully it's not true.

Everton can confirm it has suspended a First-Team player pending a police investigation. The Club will continue to support the authorities with their inquiries and will not be making any further statement at this time.

Absolutely disgusting, of course. Icelandic media are naming him, but hopefully it's not true to begin with.

It's the Sun, so obvious caveats apply, but apparently Kane to City is done for £160M. "Start the car" money for Spurs, IMO.

you said it - it's the Sun. Every reputable source has denied this already.

not saying it won't happen, it very well could be. But it's not at this point, and it's not going to be broken by the effing Sun.

Yeah....I dont know your personal opinion, but as a Non-Spurs fan I take that £160M and run. And I dont answer my phone for a few days until the cheque clears.

'Arry Kane is a talented player, but he is getting old and he gets hurt a lot.

His ankles are basically just playing with house money at this point.

I take the money and run for sure. There is no way that's legitimate though; City could just spend that kind of cash and have Haaland this year, so there's no way they'd make that offer for Kane?

They've said numerous times that they're not selling him...I kind of believe that based mainly on the thought that no one will pay enough to make them at this point.

Except Haaland isn't going to Tottenham.

he's not saying that, he's saying City could just spend the money on Haaland instead of Kane.

but there's no way Dortmund sells both Sancho and Haaland in the same summer, that'd be a terrible sign to their supporters. It was always going to be Sancho this summer and Haaland next year.
