A Perry jersey would look perfect hanging next to my Jagr jersey. He'd be a perfect signing for the bottom-six.

Lucic - Bennett - Dube
??? - Ryan - Perry
Nordstrom

Well, if he's useful on the PK, sounds like the kind of guy I was hoping we'd sign. Especially if he has wheels as someone mentioned.

Lucic - Bennett - Dube
Nordstrom - Ryan - Perry
Robinson/Gawdin/Rinaldo

Lots of sandpaper and grit in there with some scoring touch sprinkled through out, I like it!

Why not just put Nordstrom on that line - he's OK defensively. And you've got Rinaldo, Robinson and maybe Gawdin to choose from for 13th forward.

Gawdin or a free agent signing. I wasn't thoroughly impressed with Ryan last year, though he definitely has his merits. We did have Jankowski sharing the responsibilities of centering the 4th line last year (when Ryan was on the 3rd). We can definitely give Gawdin a chance or pluck someone of free agency.

Anywho I like this move. I've wanted to see more of Nordstrom for a while now, he's a player who I honestly don't know a lot about but his numbers look like a good fit for what the team is trying to do in the bottom six.
You have nothing to apologize for. Your's was the first of the threads posted.

Yep and then I remembered Gawdin as well, honestly I like Rinaldo but if we don’t see him lace them up for the big club it’s fine by me I thought we wasted a roster spot on him during the playoffs because he didn’t play heavy.

I'm fine with adding a guy who has been a part of a couple of winning programs

Totally could.

...but what if we could also sign Melker Karlsson for $700K? We need more Swedes! Have Karlsson/Nordstrom swap in and out as the 12th/13th and then use Robinson/Gawdin as 14th/15th.

I can't believe how many Tweets I've read totally crapping on this signing.

I even read one saying they would have preferred if the Flames signed Jankowski.

For one, Jankowski wanted a fresh start. But for two....... this comes after I read endless tweets criticizing Jankowski over the past year.

Dude is a PK guy like Janko, but is more aggressive and had as many points in 8 less games.

Get over the Lindholm hate. It's boring.

Not trying to make excuses for anyone but when you see what Lindholm went through this year on a personal level it’s easy to understand why his game wasn’t 100%. He’s a professional though and I fully expect to see Lindy back at the level we came to enjoy this next season!

Exactly, size, speed and sandpaper mixed with effort.

Why? it's been 2 straight years. and only in the playoffs. How many more years when it doesn't become boring?

He’s a body for the PK and if they send him to the AHL, his entire cap hit disappears.

I’m not expecting Hall levels of production here.

For one, his family suffered a horrible tragedy this summer which could have impacted his performance, particularly having to be away from his wife.
