Demko is playing well in net for the Canucks so far. He has faced 34 shots! Allen has made some great saves too.

Marleau has a pair of goals, the Sharks are ahead 3-1 after forty minutes.

Definitely got out played for periods of time. Blues are lucky Allen was on his game tonight too, or this could have been a very long game for them coming out of the break.

No doubt Demko was the first star, but don't kid yourself. They played a pretty good game. St.Louis poured it on in the third as you'd expect, but I thought the Canucks were full value for the win.

No shame in the goalie stealing a game but call a spade a spade...Canucks were outplayed

Allowing 37 shots on home ice and only one goal

Canucks got outplayed at times, got great goaltending. It doesn't hurt them that they keep scoring goals.

So 3 goals vs the Defending stanley cup champions vs their 1 goal?

I don't see the issue here. Like I said, Blues were lucky Allen was on his game or this score line could have been a lot uglier.

You're a very salty boy these days. I don't remember this angryboi side of you.

the Canucks are the 2nd highest scoring team in the WCF, 30 more goals than the Flames.

Noesen also has a pair of goals, 4-1 Sharks.

All six games had nice tributes to Kobe Bryant, his daughter, and the other six victims.

30 more goals and 3 more points...not very efficient. Anyway who said anything about the Flames we are talking about the game tonight between the Canucks and Blues

the Canucks allowed 37 shots and scored 2 goals

Their goalie ####ing stole it no matter how anyone whats to spin it...again no shame but call a spade a spade. If you wanna crown their asses go ahead, to me they get outplayed every game and just seem to be having one of those seasons.

I mean, its not like they were playing the Red Wings or anything... its the defending champs and we are playing our backup.

this was a tight checking game for two periods, the blues poured in on in the 3rd (as expected) against a young team.

what's the Blues excuse? couldn't score more than 2 goals against a bad team playing their backup...

Don't let the location fool you. I hate the Canucks. I've been in BC for all the series wins vs them since 04 and it is so sweet.
But, I do see a decent amount of them, and they are currently the only iteration that I've ever had respect for. A nice core of good young players. Looking forward to some years of renewed rivalry in the playoffs, hopefully.

St. Louis was in Vancouver's zone just about every time I watched.

The canucks are opportunistic, like the oilers (duo). And both teams top players have somewhat inflated stats and shooting percentages (and PP for the oil) which is helping them a lot. But neither team is exactly "taking it" to other teams most nights. They cash in on the breaks they get/generate.
