I was once elbowed in the back by by an Oiler fan while wearing my Regehr sweater in Edmonton. Of course while the lights were down during the anthem. I watched him go down to his seats and show his buddies what he had done. When he looked up to point where it had happened I was staring him down. They turned away immediately. I made sure to make eye contact once in awhile. They were quite nervous and left with 7 minutes to go in the third. Hahaha

Or if you're sitting up in the bleeders where everyone's annihilated. But yeah outside of that you will be fine

Can we put a plug on the billboard for ALS donations too? Or will it just be his smiling benevolent face?

I got jumped at a Senators game, it was rather hilarious.
Legit grinder, with a mustache and sweatpants (I thought I was suddenly in Edmonton), tried to tackle me and I got arrested. A random grandpa told the police I was innocent, and they drove my buddy and I to a pizza place.

It'd be awesome if they had a billboard right outside of Kassian's house that had 1000 watt spotlights for eyes and a speaker that boomed, "You're a loser Kassian" once an hour.

The beauty of this idea is that if someone in Edmonton tries to block it or ban it, they prove how fragile and butthurt they are.
If they allow it, then there is a giant picture of Tkachuk smirking at them at all times.
If they try to revenge us and do the same with a Mclottery picture on a billboard in Calgary, they will just come across as try hards to the rest of the nation that will laugh at them more.
Serious props to the guy who came up with this.

No the sad thing is there are a bunch of Oiler fans who are actually criticizing the billboard because it raises money for ALS research. Calgary fans are so horrible, they just should have given the money directly to the charity.
So a fun thing that raises money for a good cause is a bad thing. HF's subscriber base is really cringeworthy.

He concocted a plan and shared it on social media.
"I started a GoFundMe page to raise money for billboards to put up his face all around the city of Edmonton," he said.
Elsaghir had no idea it would blow up the way it did, but the money started pouring in.
He said he really didn’t think logistically it would be possible to do the billboards so he came up with another idea — he wanted to put the money raised toward charity.
|
Quote:
JD Lewis from CJAY 92 said there are ways to make this happen.
"This is a brilliant idea and we probably know people who do billboards. And lo and behold we do," Lewis said,
Lewis’s co-host Jesse Modz noted CJAY’s parent company, Bell Media, owns several billboards in Edmonton.
"We asked our boss if we could put up billboards of Matt Tkachuk in Edmonton and donate all of the money raised on the GoFundMe to the A.L.S. foundation that the guys had started and he said yes," he said.

Say what you will of CJAY92, but being civic-minded jackasses is right in their wheelhouse.

I have fond memories of them parking the semi trucks outside of the Red Wings hotel in 2004 and letting the horns rip at 6am.

Best thing CJ has done in a while. Glad it all goes to charity.
Can't wait to see some dashboard shots of this beauty. Honestly just a good smirking mug would suffice.

Considering the average HF poster has a level of intelligence that makes Zack Kassian look like Stephen Hawking this is not surprising at all. I am beyond shocked the person reporting this was a thing on HF did not receive a ban from an Oilers mod.
