Just happened to turn on SN and they showed 'The Legend of Johnny Hockey'. They talked about his history with hockey and what he is doing here in Calgary on and off the ice. It bounced back and forth between a comic book format and reality. Well done whoever did it.

I don't know, I mean Vegas is obviously a good team. But scary good? If that means they can take on anyone, ok; no argument there. If "scary" means they've got multiple deadly weapons and are a clear cut above the Sharks, Flames, Jets, Preds and a favourite to win the conference, then no. They're really tough at home and have a Cup-winning goalie, and that's about it. And they probably won't have home-ice advantage at any point this postseason.

I saw nothing from Vegas in any of our 4 games against them this season which makes me think we should be scared of them. Are they capable of winning games? Sure.

I know the big consensus on CP is that adding guys at the deadline barely moves the needle, but I don't think this is like that. They added a true star forward who plays unreal in his own zone and can score.

Two others things to consider a) He pushed everyone down the line-up creating a chain reaction of stronger lines, and b) I think the contract changes everything in terms of Mark Stone and his teammates mindsets.

He's part of the team, and they're a contender now.
100%. Vegas is Calgary's biggest threat to coming out of the West and yes I'd put them as more dangerous than San Jose at this point. Stone was a huge addition and watching them recently they looked scary as hell.

Flames fans would be wise to respect them as they also have the goaltending. A very good team Vegas is.

Maple Leaf Pub on Smith and Elgin downtown shows hockey. But seems like their website is gone so they may be out of business. Haven't been there in months.

There’s a cool pub down there called The Mapleleaf Pub that shows all the games. The owner is Calgarian too.

I was there a couple of weeks ago, but hopefully the business is still on its feet.

For Columbus. Because we’re going to decimate them.
