What gets me is the time. Damn, stuck in the ice again. I guess we'll just stick it out for another 10 months and try again next season. What a bother. And the discipline. Pretty incredible for a bunch of men jammed together in close quarters to maintain discipline and morale for years on end.
No kidding.
"Welp...stick it out for another year I guess...."

The entire season has been leaked online. I'm sure you won't get Game of Thrones level spoilers if the same thing happened on that show but I'd be more cautious reading "predictions" in here.
Really loving this series so far. Although at points I feel like a middle aged man watching a discovery channel series on the inner workings of old timey boats.
Another phenomenal episode on Monday. I think the acting has been excellent and the storyline much more enthralling than I had anticipated. I would’ve loved to have seen Hickey and Tozer swing from the gallows but I’m guessing there’ll be a more interesting demise for them soon. Great scene between Crozier and Fitzjames when they’re walking to the cairns. Seismic change in their relationship.

I really like this show but it's not exactly feel good TV. The last episode was pretty grim. I can't imagine how depressing that situation must have been.

In fairness it is called “The Terror” an obvious play on the name of one of the ships but also the situation the men were in. Any research about the Franklin expedition and you knew no one was making it out alive.

Oh I realize that. It's just pretty grim watching a show when you know everyone is going to die a slow death. The cannibalistic angle is also pretty sad as well.

Oh completely agree, a few times during this series I’ve found myself trying to envision me in the situation, so bleak with a barely a single thread of hope of escape. Pretty rough. Basically every thing that could go against them did.
