58 Kylington

So barring any trades, it is pretty much Kylington vs MacDonald for the 6th/7th spot.

I will think Kylington gets to stay and MacDonald being let go after the last pre-season game.

Stone is in the mix too. In the end I think MacDonald is let go and Kylington & Stone platoon the 6 and 7 spots.

That is what I'm hoping for. I didn't watch any games, but from everything I've read or heard, MacDonald didn't really do anything to impress enough to earn a spot over Kylington or Stone.

I guess the only way they send Kylington down and sign MacDonald is if they feel Kylington is better served as the top defenseman in Stockton for a few months.

Stone won't get waived or sent down. If the Flames didn't want him, why bother re-signing him?

I think Stone stays. I have been saying all along that MacDonald has the best chance at a contract of the PTOs and I think he gets one. That leaves Kylington to the minors (assuming he doesn't need to clear waivers). I don't think he was particularly good this preseason (from my limited viewings).

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
