I know he does some entertaining movies, but I never see his character, just him.

Harvey Weinstein. That’s how.

But it doesn’t make it a bad movie.

Did he threaten to sexual harass the Academy if it didn't win?

You’re joking but it’s not far off. There’s a reason why Jen Lawrence made a joke about Harvey murdering people to secure her win a few years ago.

He also basically invented bribing but not bribing academy voters. Lavish screenings, extensive ad campaigns, spreading rumours about the competition etc.

It's well known Weinstein heavily marketed the movie and strong armed press into doing more interviews and promotion than is typical and as said above likely wan't above bribery.

Big Mouth season 3 dropped today. Can't wait to binge it tonight!

Also, they announced that they are developing a spin off called Human Resources. It's about the office/work life of the Hormone Monsters and the other creatures in that realm.

Holy hell, the Canadian Netflix bit in episode is gold.

I killed the season already. It was great. A step up from last. As good as the first.

Hmm, I definitely enjoyed the season (this is easily one of my favorite current shows), but I thought it was the weakest of the 3. The Duke episode and the season finale were especially below the show's standards.

Season finale was pretty bad but I enjoyed the Duke episode.

Yup. Good show. I kept passing on it because I thought it was another Borat style film (which it isn't).

Great acting by Borat!

Binged it! Man it is a violent show! Can’t wait for season 6 and 7.

6 apparently is already written and they are writing 7.

Man, some of the script-writing errors in Peaky Blinders really prevent me from enjoying what is kind of a fun, fantasy take on the gangster genre.

Are you referring to historical inaccuracies or plot errors?

I'm excited for this announcement. I love the comics and my kids do too. It's well suited for a series.

‘Bone’: Netflix Will Animate Jeff Smith’s Acclaimed Comic Book Epic

Netflix has secured the rights to Jeff Smith’s Bone, the whimsical fantasy epic that’s widely viewed as one of the Holy Grail properties among unadapted comic book classics. Netflix will develop the Bone shelf of international bestsellers as an animated kids series.

I heard the biggest thing that has prevented the comics from already being developed was that studios were always pushing it for it to a pure kids show, they wanted to soften the story and have child voices for the Bone cousins.

If it can be a combination of Hilda and Dark Crystal they could knock it out of the park.

You guys talking about the show got me to watch the entire series (almost done season 3). I haven’t liked season 3 as much as the first two. For me, the lack of coach Steve is messing with me.

His line in the episode where the kids have a sleepover at the school and he says: “boys sleep over here, girls sleep over there, and if you’re a transformer, just sleep wherever you want” absolutely slayed me.

Also the shame wizard needs to come back.
