Sweet & tangy win tasted like last years vintage. I loved what Dube brought to a top 6 spot, and unfortunately I’d like to see Gaudreau kept on the Lucic-Ryan line. Both Backlund and Jankowski showed spurts of their own best offensive moves which should yield results. I like when the scoring is spread out in the lineup and the superstars aren’t gifted all the big minutes & best matchups.
Oh, and Rittich is still a beast, that save on Skinner in the 3rd was heroic.

Way to go Reider. Best German in the NHL.

The stupid penalties combined with the few freebies the other team is gifted every game really made it tougher than it had to be, but the Flames just powered through this time.

Ridiculous post. The dude busts his arse every single game, and has been one of the few bright spots this year with how hard he works.

Good game from the top to the bottom of the lineup. So happy that Lucic scored.

But you're not going to win many games when you have almost a period of penalties.
Clean it up please.

I accept full responsibility for their current streak. They are 4-0-1 since I took the Flames case off my phone. Lol

great win and extra sweet after Craig Button rips the team on hockey central...
every time i have heard him try to tear them a new one he ends up being brutally wrong.

keep it up Craig and GFG!!!

Keep Gaudreau on line 3. It makes us much harder to play against, seeing as the top two lines seemed to work. And having big bad Lucic on the same line is the absolute best use for him.

I really dug the Backlund-Monahan experiment. Ward might be on to something there.

Gaudreau with limited time and lots of look > Gaudreau with lots of time and not much going on.

I tip my hat to him tonight and celebrate the win. I’m good with that.

That, right there, is a very fun Flames team to watch! If that's the type of game we play going forward, I'm diggin' it.

Lucic has the fifth-best Corsi on the Flames. He's only been getting better lately. He's a strong passer, good in front of the net, and he sticks up for his teammates.

He's so underrated around here and especially around the league. Now that the rest of the team is starting to find its gear, Lucic's value will only become more apparent.

And his good CORSI is also way more functional than Janko's good CORSI.
