Civilization players seem to be few and far between in these here parts but I'll reiterate. Civ 6 out now on console! Expecting a lackluster response but I cant get enough of it.
I used to play Civ 2 on Playstation because my computer at that time sucked. It took forever to wait for the turns to finish.
I've played Civ 6 on my iPad Pro and it's actually a decent experience. It's supposed to run well on console. MATN has a video about it:
I've never played Pokemon like this before, but I'm doing the same thing this game. The way you can access the PC any time makes a huge difference
I've done it to a smaller degree (maybe 10 Pokemon rotation) in the more recent games because it's so easy to over level stuff, but the instant Box access is a huge QoL that actually goes well with the forced exp share.

I picked it (and its expansions) up on XB when it launched, and am loving it. I don’t game on PC any more and have really been missing experiences like Civ and Hearts of Iron, so was super stoked to play Civ 6. A bit pricey for the whole package, but awesome fun and they’ve done a pretty admirable job porting the controls/interface over to console.
Epitome of the “ah, just ten more minutes” kind of game. Simply life-destroying.
I bought a switch for the sole purpose of playing Civ 6 while on the road (an $80 game mind you) and I just can't get into it.
Civ 5 might be as close to perfect as possible. It's too bad they couldn't get Seen Been to narrate Civ 5.
On the other hand, anyone want to buy a switch and Civ 6?
I'm the opposite, after playing Civ 6 there's no way I can go back to 5. In 5 you are punished for expanding your empire with severe penalties to happiness, it basically forces you to keep your city count low. 6 is the exact opposite as you're encouraged to spread out as much as you can, which is what makes sense to me in an empire building game. I also really like the district system in 6, as well as being able to gather multiple units of the same type to form an army, which is a nice middle point between the single unit per tile rules of 5 and the stacks-of-doom from 4

Just had my first successful 1v2 engagement in DCS! Holy crap it was tense. Took me like 3 days to figure out how to use the radar on the F-18 and I'm sure glad I did!
edit: Had to pull the replay, I'm that proud of myself

That sounds pretty cool. Is it something a person who isn't a big Star Wars fan would enjoy?
There is definitely some that will be lost on a none Star Wars fan, but as far as gameplay goes and exploration/character advancement, that is up there with the top of any game so you would enjoy that part.
As a non Star Wars fan it's probably still a solid 8/10.

WTH I didn't know this was a thing. I'v been searching for good flight combat games and this never came up. Time to pull out the old HOTAS
Edit: And it works with HTC Vive, maybe I can get some use out of that also. Now I see why i Never heard of it, $100 cdn for a plane, if its good maybe its worth it.

I tried it a few years ago and for whatever reason couldn't get into it. Now I can't pull myself away, especially in VR. I recommend starting with the $18 F-15 to see if you like the overall idea of the game. The cheaper planes don't have as much functionality but they're still really fun, but the expensive planes like the F-18 I have have almost every system in them realistically modelled, with every button and switch in the cockpit clickable and working.
MLB The Show will be getting released on Xbox and Nintendo platforms starting in 2021 — Sony still owns the license and develops the game but they’re going multiplatform. Very interesting news, I know The Show is the cream of the crop of baseball games so pretty big news.
