How is this not over lol. It's not like Felix has stormed back, he's barely survived each game.

One service hold needed for a tie-breaker and I wasn't thinking that 20 minutes ago.

4 match points saved. Nishioka played those points timid though cause hes a defensive player. It's a huge match for him too. Hes ranked 75.

You yell after you have made a great shot not when your opponent badly misses a smash.

He yelled cause of his effort. He retrieved and forced that error.

Sure but that's his game. To run and run and make people miss.

Would have been better off losing 6-1 lol. Had the chance in the breaker too.

I think that's unfair. Nishioka ran everything down and the lefty spin is hard for FAA to handle. He'll learn.

Is it just me or do the Asian players play the most boring tennis matches known to man. Seems to work though.

I thought Nishikori played well also. He didn't make as many errors as Felix did. Returned serves and waited out for Felix's errors.
Felix did great to comeback as he did though. Still learning.

Yes cause you gave to hit winners to beat the guy.
The unforced error stat is a bit flawed. If you're hitting a 10th shot deep in the court, you're being forced.
Now if you're Milos and hit 20 aces and forehand missiles against Nishioka, you just break his spirit.

It's ok to be mad at Nishioka, we all hate negative tennis. Felix just needed to keep his serve up and he wins straight sets. Serving well is always the best antidote to negative tennis.

I don't have a problem with Nishioka's style of play and he did play well tonight as i said earlier. I also don't have issues with players showing emotion either, but in my opinion timing is important. If you hit a great shot to win a point or win a gut busting 30+ shot rally, let out a yell. If you get lucky throwing up a lob that doesn't even make the service line and your opponent misses it badly, that's not the time. Just my two cents.
