It would be nice to go into the long break with another win. As easy as the January schedule looks to have been, the one in February is pretty rough. Not so much in terms of opponents, but the amount of travel that the team will do with three separate trips to the East Coast.

Hopefully Lindholm, Hanifan, Ryan, and Peters can take it to the Canes tonight. I hope that Hamilton doesn't get booed, and I also hope he has a rather indifferent game tonight too.

Yeah, MrMike -- McElhinney's day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Looks like he suffered it in a game against the Rangers last week. Nedeljkovic has been recalled. I don't know who the Hurricanes plan to start tonight but I suspect they'll go with Mrazek.

Flames better on paper, Hurricanes just went up and beat the hell out of the Oilers too.... should be a good game.

If we can somehow kidnap Ferland after tonight and get him on our third line with Bennet and Janko I wont even care if we win tonight.

Should be a fun one tonight with both teams trying to prove they got don't need who they gave up especially with Lindholm and Ferland lining up beside each other when the top lines are out at the same time.

Agree, people should shoosh any noise makers like you would in a library or museum.

^ Actually that would be kind of funny if the crowd shushed Dougie instead of booing him.

You forgot to bold McElhinney. He was drafted by and played for the flames.

Of course, how could I forget that ridiculous diving save he made against the Hurricanes in 2009?

Carolina reminds me of Calgary but a slightly lesser version. Quick, but not quite as quick. Good D but not quite as good. Skilled top line but not quite as skilled.

Not to be taken lightly, but it should be a win.
