Next time the issue occurs, grab your laptop and see if you can get to the router configuration web page. If you can reach the page while the issue is occurring it could be a DNS iissue. I wonder if your pc is somehow doing DNS for your local network. Can you do an "ipconfig /all" and paste it here?

so far i seem to be having no issues at all, and actually i am noticing my computer is acting differently when its waking up as far as the network icon goes. i think something in the linksys software wasnt playing nicely. im crossing my fingers but i think not installing their software and manually setting up the router for wireless and such as made things improve.

So this appears to have fixed my issue thanks fire! I think that something dueing he installation went wonky. Internets been totally stable since I uninstalled Cisco connect and factory reset my modem
