The next stage in the off-season is UFA re-signing

As a reminder for any UFA you wish to re-sign
- All deals are 3 years
- All deals are 1 way
- All deals are per the UFA column on the grid
- You MUST have cap room to re-sign the player
- You CANNOT have any players in IR
- Any player that is above the ratings threshold (in the grids) and 23 years or younger MUST be on your CPHL club.
- Any player that is on a one way deal MUST be on your CPHL club.

To resign your player please send an email to cphltrade@yahoo.com with the following
Your team name in the subject line
The name of the player(s) you wish to re-sign
Their rating
The corresponding UFA grid amount
The total amount of per year cap required for those signings
The amount of cap you have available
The names of any player you are NOT re-signing

This is to re-sign all of your own pending UFAs, who were on your team at the end of the year with an expiring UFA contract. LA has none - the previous GM released Dale Weise and Keith Kinkaid (rightfully so) already.

Vancouver has handed out two big UFA contracts to Logan Couture ($8) and Ben Bishop ($8.5) the GM was overheard saying "We would be even worse than we were last year if we let them walk!"

To add to what scorpion posted, plus since there is a lot of new GM's I'm going to very basically explain this. Skip over it if it's too obvious, just posting just incase

Every year when we do rollover, when on you team page Matthew Barzal's contract rolls over from 2 66 years old and 1 year @ 1.15M to 27 years old and a RFA. Well when this happens to a player turning a UFA he is deleted from the page

Thats why we start this page 2020 UFA List and Cuts so we can keep track of which teams own which UFA players once they are deleted during rollover

You then have the choice to sign or release the UFA players you won the rights for. Once released they become free agents

Waiver cut off - all players at or above must be in CPHL to sign UFAs
Forwards 66 and up
Defence 67 and up
Goalies 81 and up

2. Means the player did not play in the real NHL or AHL, I think the limit they must play is 15 (whatever it is, its low) Since the player didn't play in either of the two leagues he doesn't have a rating

If you need that player to have a rating (maybe backup goalie) then you can summit him to the league and they will provide a base 5oish type rating. If a player is never going to play in your lineup or ever bee needed for call up (such as your 7th D in the AHL) he doesn't need a rating
