Ducks make stupid move, trade their Captain

In a move today that may get GM Simmer fired, the Ducks have traded Shea Weber to the Flames.

TO FLAMES
Shea Weber
7.5M in Cheese this year
2M in Cheese next year
2nd (EDM) 22'

TO DUCKS
1st (STL) 21'
1st (ANA) 22'

The Flames needed Cheese to make more deals, and well, the Ducks like trading. It's handy to have some more trade chips to make upgrades or swaps.

I now need to find a replacement for Weber, so don't be surprised if I reach out to you!

Fun trade talks with a lot of moving parts. We had sent out 2 veteran D and then had some regrets. Happy to bring in Shea Weber as we feel like he will be a top pairing D for several years still. This year he's tied for 9th best rated D in the league.

Flames would still look to add a stud forward to the roster. Willing to move some 1sts, Perfetti among other things. PM me if you have one available.
