while i totally agree with you... maybe he's "not allowed"... orange would clash with all the white, black and grey theme!
one of the things we need to remember is hockey is his "work". when you go home do you have your employer's corporate logo all around your house? one of my neighbours used to play back in the 90s/00s and in his place the only hockey stuff he has up is a few jerseys down in his games room. no hockey stuff in the rest of the house.

Never.
"Hey...why does a modern home require a dedicated incinerator?"
- "Needs? No....thats for the box of Oilers gear they send me each month. It also heats my Hot Tub!"

The house is bland and colorless and lacking personality. Just like its owner.
Lets Go.

Is this house between Draisaitl’s and Kassian’s?

What are the odds he let his girlfriend do the interior design for a house in Edmonton that he has no intention of inhabiting so he can merely chum the waters of Oiler fans and flip it at a higher price, giving her experience during the exercise?

Draisaitl does in fact own a house on that street.
Everyone in Edmonton says Draisaitl doesn't live there anymore, he just stays there occasionally, and he actually lives in a house he owns on a totally different street.
It's not a very nice street though so Draisaitl actually does in fact spend more time in the house on McAvid's street.

Why do I have trouble picturing Kassian living anywhere other than a ratty trailer park?
You know the one with the broken screen door, the jacked up truck that looks like the owner won a JC Whitney shopping spree, the nicest inflatable pool from Canadian Tire, and 193 empty beer bottles strewn across the patch of dirt where the lawn used to be from last night's shaker.

Not many oiler fans could afford it, and the ones who could probably have a spouse that would veto the place in a hurry. When he moves to Toronto or NY in a few years the realtor will probably recommend painting it before selling.

Not anymore, he hit the lottery, he's a Beverly Hills Trailer Park Boy now. Even has his own cement pond.

Maybe he just has a really big trailer, like when Steve Martin bought his family a bigger shack in The Jerk.

OK, this bit of absurdity has been nagging at the back of my mind:
Quote:
"Prompted to describe the decor in three words, Kyle said, 'Tactile. Intimate. Hub.' That’s for sure three words. (My picks would be Kubrickian. Aaaahhhhhh!!! Marble.)"
|
I have been trying to come up with the perfect words to describe that decor, and I think I've made some progress. So far I've only got it down to six words:
Goth Night at the box factory.
