Like just now?
This thread has affected change across the board. Most people have gotten in on our #### without even knowing it was us. Remember when we had the FOI sub-forum talking in Tamarian. We're the shadowy cabal that runs this place.... with Star Trek memes. Pretty sure we got a Ceti Eel in Bingo... at the very least his kid.

This thread is slightly out of phase with the rest of CP... you need an Ophidian to access it.

That was hilarious.
Also, they need to make the next Star Trek movie about the Borg going back in time to assassinate the inventor of the surge-protector.
"Haha! Without this key piece of technology Starfleet will be crippled! We also invented the steam-duct and beam Union....oh this is going to delay Starfleet for ages!!"

The rest of the Board has no idea that all of the real plans are happening in here. They dont read the Star Trek thread and are completely oblivious to our plans to assimilate them all.

We are a Star Trek fandom site masquerading as a hockey fandom site to hide our nerdy nature.

No laws are being broken. If a warp drive existed as theorized the ship wouldn't be moving at all, it would be contracting the space in front of it. Imagine space like a piece of paper, with conventional travel if you wanted to go from one end to the other you'd need to travel the entire length. But a warp drive would fold the piece of paper in half so the two ends meet, meaning the ship doesn't have to move

Yeah, but the end result is still you are violating causality. If warp drive could exist, then information can travel faster than the speed of light and in essence you end up with a time machine.

Information can already travel faster than the speed of light, it's called quantum entanglement

It's fun when a thread you start actually becomes the thread and a staple on the board. I only have this and the PC Hardware Talk thread (which I don't even post in, I made it when I complained in the video game thread that there was too much PC hardware talk, and someone said I should start a separate thread for it, ha).

That's another lie sci-fi told you. No information is transmitted. Quantum entanglement cannot be used for faster-than-light communication.

Well, from what I can read, quantum entanglement suggests some sort of connection, but no clue as to how it actually works.

They asked me how well I understood theoretical physics. I said I had a theoretical degree in physics. They said welcome aboard.
