Back down to reality, City are a class above still.
Will take a miracle win away at City to have a title chance now.
Arsenal bringing on Ben White & Pablo Viera to try and come back just shows how thin the squad is.
Useless attacking bench outside of Trossard.
Nketiah has done well in Jesus's absence but needs 4-5 chances to score 1 goal. Just not quite at the level a striker competing for the title would need to be at.
looking at the Championship, Michael Carrick seems to be doing an insane job at Middlesbrough. They were in the bottom 5 when he took over, now he has them in 3rd place after beating Sheffield tonight. 12 wins in 16 games.
good for him.

Reason: he’s so memorable I forget his first name
Ratcliffe/INEOS have bid too. As long as they are still in the race, I'm holding out some slim hope ...

Lee Mason is out as VAR after his error in the Arsenal game.
Quote:
Professional Game Match Officials Ltd has confirmed that VAR referee Lee Mason has left the organisation by mutual consent.
Mason caused controversy last weekend after failing to spot an offside in the buildup to Brentford’s equaliser against Arsenal and he had not been selected as a VAR for the next round of Premier League fixtures. Christian Nørgaard appeared to be in an offside position before providing an assist for Ivan Toney to level the score for the Bees, who went on to take a point at the Emirates.
Mason had not been selected as a VAR for the next round of Premier League fixtures taking place this weekend, and PGMOL confirmed in a statement on Friday night that the referee had departed.
I watched the Arsenal match on delay & shifted to the final 5 minutes of the City match right after.
What a 15 minutes of life!! My adrenaline is going bonkers before 9am.
Went from thinking Arsenal may get nothing or a draw and City would get 3 points to complete turnaround and 2 point swing back to the top of table.

that red card also means Pope will be suspended for the Caribou Cup final against United next weekend. Backup goalkeeper Dubravka is cup-tied after already playing for another club this season (United lol), and they've loaned out Darlow ... means they'll have none other than Loris Karius in net.

IIRC he's got finals experience though!
