Is it suitable for kids or more aimed at adults?

Without spoiling, through 3 episodes, there has been violence (blood), and it's pretty creepy. I think it would be hard to recommend it to kids under 12-14, but I don't know.

It does seem to be aimed at adults.

I would say it is more of an adult show. No real adult content that I've seen so far, just pretty creepy. I had trouble sleeping after the first episode (and that one wasnt even that creepy...)

I have watched almost the whole thing. It's awesome. It's not really scary or anything, more creepy at times.

It is like watching a Stephen King novel.

Very well done. 10/10.

Just finished.

I think what this may end up being is like True Detective, where the entire cast changes from year to year. Great season for sure though.

Wow, simply wow. This is Goonies meets a good horror film by Stephen King. I read a review which called it if Spielberg and King made a TV series, this would be it.

I finished it in one sitting, absolutely unable to stop until I finished. Don't read anything about the story, just watch and enjoy, its especially enjoyable for us that grew up in the 80s.

Same here, pretty much watched it through. It was like watching a 6+ hour movie.

I have no problem with Netflix increasing their rates if this is the kind of stuff they churn out. Everything they touch seems to be gold.

I've only seen the first episode but I'm hooked. Fantastic atmosphere and top notch production values.

Incredible show. I stumble upon it quite by accident. I agree with what some are calling the show here, sort of a Spielberg meets King goonies/close encounters/IT

I'm about half way through the season, and I am really enjoying the show. Great acting, and the atmosphere being projected is very authentic; I feel like it could be me as a kid in the movie.

We had just finished watching the first season of Manhattan, and David Harbour in a relatively minor role was one of the most compelling parts of it. Great to see him get an even meatier part here as the sheriff. Normally I'm a proud non-binger, but this is so good I may not be able to hold off from watching the whole thing in a week.

If it gets a second season, which I'm pretty sure it will at this point. Stranger Things will continue the story.

This show is going to be epic!

Found a good list of a bunch of movie references that can be found in the 8 episodes of Stranger Things: http://www.vulture.com/2016/07/stran...-glossary.html. I made a few connections, but certainly there are more than I would have thought.

I watched a couple episodes last night and binged watched the rest tonight. Like others I wasn't sure if it was aimed at kids or adults before I started watching it but I was pleasantly surprised.

Only one episode deep, but I really hated Winona Ryder in it
