Yeah, after watching that clip, I had to wonder if they were transported into space and into the future because of the way the guy that greeted them talked.
Its funny that Fitz wasn't on the list and left behind as well.

Really good episode last night and a two hour one to boot.
Spoiler!
Really creepy start with an alien wearing a dude suit leading a raid that takes all of our hero's except for Fitz prisoner, they're sent through a portal and end up on a space station in an asteroid field.
As the hero's reunite they find out that this is a Kree Station occupied by what remains of humanity after a cataclysmic event has destroyed the Earth. The Kree basically saved humanity and imposed a brutal basically concentration camp life style. We find out that the portal was also a time travel device and that the Agents have moved into the future.
All human's wear a implant call a metric, they're basically slaves, as long as they work hard they're fine, but if they don't its over for them.
The Kree are commanded by a creepy dude who's obsessed with beauty and perfection and he takes Simmons and makes her into his personal human slave. He also inserts something in her ear so she's deaf to everyone but him.
We see that May materialized with a Pipe through her leg giving her an injury that hobbled her, in real life Ming Na Wen had major knee surgery and this was a clever way to cover that up. But she still kicks a lot of butt.
There's a new character on the team, a survivor named Deke who has rebuilt the framework which allows humans and Kree to escape from reality for a while. Daisy and Deke end up in the Frame work and he explains that Daisy caused the event that shattered the earth.
At the same time we see that the Kree are all about Sport and they have an event where they toss a shotgun on the floor and turn random peoples Metric's red, those people can then either die or pay with the life of someone else. Humanity has become truly wretched and violent and suspicious.
While Fitz wasn't bought to the future he did manage to send a message to the future via a postcard that simply says "Working on It". Kind of a cool idea.
For the whole off season speculation was that Coulson in space would introduce Sword of Spear and we would have human space aces. However Yoyo made a big joke about it and Coulson denied that space shield existed.
This was a pretty daring and dark start to the season. As always it was well acted and written, with Mac bringing up the Alien movies when Coulson thought they should split up. Mac basically responded with "We know what happens in Alien Movies and we know who dies first". The next scene has the whole group doing the group creep down a hallway and Coulson quips "Oh yeah we look cool".
I was worried that with the budget cuts to the show that the effects would take a step back, but they found a way to balance it out nicely with a lot of scenes taking place in the space station with no windows and not a lot of high tech. But when they shot outside the effects looked great especially the destroyed earth.

I kind of lost interest in the series at one point, but then I needed something to watch while doing other stuff. Ended up really liking 4th season, easily my favourite season so far. Cool Ghost Rider, and I really like Patriots story arc. I really feel the series is at it's best when it follows more of superhero series logic, with fast and incredible twists and turn and plenty of interpersonal drama. I can't really get into the organizational spy games me and I just dislike all the bureaucrat enemies in a non-entertaining way.
Rewind was great, it was good to see Nick Blood and his wisecracking ways again
Who's the US Air Force lady General? Hydra remnant?
The budget cuts on the show are noticible, but if that means it keeps the show going, I guess we can live with it.
I have to admit, I did laugh at the Thule Box converted into a "cryofreezer" prop
Cool to see the linkage with the Robin Inhuman from a couple seasons ago
Scowly Ben-wa balls ninja girl is more annoying than menacing. (thanks budget cuts)
Robin's drawing would seem to indicate May and Quake over the body of Jemma?
The tie in with Infinity Wars is very clear - great to keep the show relevant in age of the greatest movie event to happen in a long time
What else was in the case left for Future Fitz? Coulson's arm, a shotgun axe,
Overall I'm still enjoying the show - the first 3 shows have been a little slow but they've been picking up in 4 & 5. I felt the same way that season they were stuck on the alien moon with Hive and look how that season turned out... so I still have faith it'll be absolutely cracking by the end...

still love the righting on the show
Spoiler!
Hunter and Fitz doing the Han Solo Leia thing before Fitz went into cryosleep was as good as Coulson doing the Help me Obi-Wan hologram against Hive.
I don't think the Airforce lady is Hydra, I think Hydra is truly in the bag on this show and in the Avenger universe. I was wondering if she's alien.
You're thinking the same thing as me in terms of the drawin.
In terms of the box, I'm still thinking the shotgun axe, the arm, Daisy's wrist bracelets, and a radio transmitter so they can find the box.
Still really loving the show, May hasn't fought a lot and when she does its really apparent that its a stunt double. It sounds like Ming's surgery was major.
Oh and Release the Ferrets.

“Last season, season four, the episode before the last episode, I was doing a stunt fight scene, and just did the wrong thing, kicked the wrong way, and felt like somebody shot me in the knee,” Wen recalled. “I blew out my ACL and my meniscus. I have a brand new ACL. Isn't she pretty? So pretty. Somewhere in there. And a couple of screws. “
I haven't done a review of Agents of Shield for a few weeks, but I just got done watching "The last Day" so I thought I would put some thoughts down.
Spoiler!
To be honest, even though I liked this episode and clearly there was a lot of thought put into it, it came across as too much and too dense and because of that things tended to get confusing.
There were multiple story lines in this episode as our hero's have split up. Yoyo and make remain in the lighthouse with Flint, ultimately their goal is to protect the remaining humans from the machinations of Kasius the Kree leader.
At this point its clear that Kasius who's sole goal is to get away from the lighthouse has thrown all subtlety away and basically just wants to exterminate the humans so he releases the roaches into the human population. However Flint and Mac and Yoyo find a way to stop it by using Yoyo's power to slap bombs on the roaches. We also saw the return of the Shotgun axe, and a great exchange between Flint and Mac
Flint - Doesn't the axe make it hard to shoot
Mac - Yeah but you can cut heads off with the Axe.
And then after shooting a bug and cutting off its head Flint suddenly gets it.
The main storyline takes place on the Zephyr where Coulson, Daisy, Fitz and Simmons have holed up with Robin the Inhuman little girl that can see through time who is now an old lady and some humans that have survived the surface.
So here's where the episode maybe got a little confusing. Apparently there are multiple time lines happening as we see May and Fitz and Simmons in a time line after the destruction of earth with a young Robin who's visions are incredibly confusing to everyone because like a deck of cards she's seeing different eventualities. In this time line, May refuses to help Yoyo fight the Kree because humanity needs the Kree's help to survive even if it enslaves them. We also see Robin make a suggestion of a time machine to which now apparently Fitz says time is fixed, but this episode proves this.
Meanwhile in the current storyline, they find a piece of a monolith and a device that can open a portal to send them back. However this is the key, in order for the world to be destroyed, Daisy needs to go back and destroy it.
See, I told you, dense multiple time lines.
Meanwhile one of the human survivors who's been looking after Robin decides that to save the world and prevent this timeline he needs to prevent Daisy and the others from going back home and to silence Robin he kills her.
This is always the interesting ethical debate that always starts with, if you could go back in time and kill Hitler before he takes power and prevent WW2 is it the right thing to do.
The answer in this episode and series seems to be a resounding no. By stabbing and killing Robin he simply becomes a killer. The whole background behind Agents of Shield has always been the nobility of self sacrifice.
In the end we get a flashback where May is raising Robin and Robin offers to tell her how to save the world, but May insists that she keep that until the end. So in the the current story May conforts Robin as she dies and Robin tells her how to get home.
But this leaves a lot of questions. What happened to the Agents of Shield that were in the time line where they survived the destruction of the World? Are some of them still alive, or are they all dead?
Also why were they bought into the future if that's what is basically going to trigger the end of the world. If you go by the theory that time lines are independent and fixed, maybe the reason is two fold. One to save the humans in this time line and bring Flint back to the pre-destroyed earth timeline. And maybe this is a hedge in case they can't stop Daisy from destroying the world.
The other theory is that maybe its not Daisy who destroys the world but Flint with his power over rocks that does it.
Its all a little confusing but very thought provoking.
There were some nice scenes in this episode.
Fitz and Simmons finally getting some time alone.
May and Coulson's discussion about May not giving up hope.
And Daisy talking to Deke about bad fathers and putting her father in a somewhat positive light.
Overall this was a good episode, if not especially dour.

This show is a breath of fresh air. The story is original and it moves along, no teasing teasing then no payoff. Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash and their ilk all have exactly the same story lines. Not only are they boring they are aggravating to watch.

think general question is can time be changed as per Robin or is time fixed and it's an endless loop like Fitz.
I think Flint becomes key. In that Video of Daisy leaving the Zaphyr we can assume if Flint was in the timeline he would be with her. So perhaps they have never gotten all the right people back in time at the same time.
I think it will be clear that some other event years the world apart and daisy tries to save it. But her powers can't hold things together. Instead you need flints power of putting rocks together. If you saw that picture of the earth robin drew it looks like pieces of earth breaking up but really that could be pieces of earth being held together.
Solid season so far.[]

I totally agree with the Flint angle. Daisy leaving to me looked like she was going off on her own to make a last ditch effort to save the world from whatever was happening, probably by trying to match vibrations or something. But she is either not strong enough or her powers just weren't the ones needed and I agree that's where Flint comes in.
I noticed how Fitz was aware of the multiple time travel attempts and their failures in the flashbacks. Even noting Voss's failed plan. It is going to be interesting to see if they have an explanation or just use Robin's visions of different attempts.
Lastly I am really curious what the event is. It could just be a natural major earthquake that Quake mistakenly amplifies, but I am really hoping it has a tie-in to Infinity War and turns out to be the first wave of attack, maybe one of Thanos' children does a guest spot. But I am not holding my breath.
