First round matchups are always the toughest, and this one is certainly no slouch! Pittsburgh and Detroit have remained locked in playoff battle positions for almost 3 months now and there is little to nothing seperating these 2 teams in the stats columns. 3 regular season games played, each team getting a 4-1 win in the visitors rink and a 4-3 win by Pitts to take a very close series.


I think this series goes 7 games with Defence and Goalies being the difference makers.

Your D contributes much more to your offense than mine, where I feel I have a slight forward advantage. I have to hope that Sim Andersen is a better playoff performer than the real life version .
