Agreed. We’ve got two episodes left to watch and have enjoyed it so far.

Personally I didn't much care for the movie, but the soundtrack IS pretty effing good.

That and Dunkirk for me. Both were completely overwhelming in IMAX in the best possible way. Sound plays a big part in both and adds so much to the experience.

Dunkirk in IMAX was so intense.

That first gunshot...Scared the crap out of me. It was such an experience that I went back and watched it twice. What a great movie.

It was the dive bombers on the beach for me. Just being immersed in that scene and imagining myself in that setting under those circumstances. My mouth was agape for pretty much that entire film but the stukkas coming in was terrifying.

American Animals. Excellent movie about 4 normal young men looking for excitement and orchestrating a brazen heist. It's a true story that blends theatrical performance with documentary style film making. Excellent movie.

Yep... there's never been a thing like this.

The only miss on that scene is when they show everybody get back up there were no bombing craters on the beach. Small nitpick but something I noticed

Nobody is fun. I don’t 100% buy Odenkirk as an action guy but he’s got the swagger down at least. Christopher Lloyd and Michael Ironside both have small roles but they do a great job.

RZA was good too. He should have shown up sooner.

Michael Ironside looks like he ate all of the weight that Bob Odenkirk lost....

Was there some Faustian Bargain afoot here?

Watched "I Care a Lot" last night.
Great cast, good acting, but what a terrible movie.
I was raging by the end. What a miss.

Nobody, is great fun. Loved it even though it's a rip off.

The Father, was a powerful voyage into the mind of dementia. Anthony Hopkins will win best actor.

I enjoyed Nobody as well. The plot has obvious similarities to John Wick, but this one is more of a dark comedy, and I thought the violence was less stylized (or less "gun-fu") and a bit gorier. Fun movie.

Odenkirk is a believable action star. I was listening to a recent podcast episode with him where he talks about the crazy amount of fight training he had to do for the role. He said the scene on the bus was loads of fun to shoot.

Watched a couple movies this weekend with the snow.

Nobody - 6.5/10. Was a solid movie. As everyone said above pretty much covered everything about it but it had good humour with Odenkirk. It was pretty much exaclty what I expected it to be.

Love and Monsters (Netflix) - 3.5/10. This had the feelings of Zombieland with replacement zombies and not nearly as good of acting/script. Was mindless half entertainment but overall not a good movie.

I watched 10 Rillington Place on the weekend and the film is one of the most disturbing I've ever seen, and I watch alot of horror films. It's based on a true story of a serial killer in England in the 1940s and stars Richard Attenborough as the killer John Christie and he gives a performance that rivals Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs. John Hurt also gives an excellent performance as a tenant who rents the upstairs room with his wife and child from Christie. If you love tension and atmospheric films I highly recommend this one. But be warned you will need a cleanser after because it's not an easy watch, especially considering it's a true story.

This is an old movie that I just got around to watching, but I can't believe how derivative Oblivion was. The only reason I made it all the through was because it was a pretty decent hate-watch, in a "oh, so now they're ripping off *blank*" sort of way.
