Shameless
I don't know if anyone else watches this show, but the most recent episode had one of the funniest urine sample scenes ever in it.

I've seen the um... "highlights" featuring Emmy Rossum on the internet. Looks like a show worth watching.

she's hot
here's the recap from the last episode
Quote:
Fiona tries to get the kids back after they are taken away by child protective services. Even going so far as attempting to track Monica down and asking Veronica and Kev to apply to foster them. She ultimately gets Frank to agree to clean up and petition for their return. Fiona quits her job at the grocery store when the manager wouldn't let her off to go find the kids. Frank gets Sheila to pose as Monica since the petition for custody requires signatures from both parents. Frank and Sheila must attend a parenting class in order to get the kids back, Sheila hopes that the class might help her understand why Karen ran away. Meanwhile Veronica and Kev continue their quest to have a baby. Veronica convinces Kev to have sex with her mother, as the artificial insemination was not working. Mickey's dad finds Ian and Mickey in a sexual position; he beats them both and then calls a prostitute to have sex with Mickey, forcing Ian to watch. At the end of the episode, Fiona finds out that Frank was the one who called child protective services.

The show is awesome!
I heard about it last fall and caught up on the first two seasons in a matter of a few weeks, after that I was hooked and continue to be hooked into the current (seas.3) season. I guess it would be classified as a dark comedy, Very dark. Nothing is off limits with this show and I am amazed how things can always get weirder with the Gallagher's.
This show is not for the faint of heart as there are often times where certain characters are put in situations that are just awful, especially the youngest daughter Deb. Other than that the show has so much to offer and every character's role is well written. One of the most interesting characters on the show has to be Frank, (William H. Macey) the Father of the brood who has an amazing knack of somehow sinking to a new low, lower than low, in every episode. This guy has far less scruples than Bad Santa himself. And yeah, Emmy Rossum is something special.
All in all a great show!, highly recommend.

You guys are watching the tired safe version of a Brit show set on a housing estate in Manchester, you need to check out the origanal, it makes far more sense set in drug and booze fueled UK where it is less of a comedy and closer to a documentry

Not my style, too bad because Macy is awsome. I'm just not a fan of depressing shows, I gave it a shot but found it was often way too dark for my liking

Best show on TV right now. Until boardwalk empire, breaking bad, and GoT return anyway

that wasn't much at all. Pretty less than humurous episode this last one, so I will have to go back to the episode before to remind myself how funny it can be.
The storyline with Kevin and his gf trying to get pregnant is funny. The they think she can't conceive so they talk her Mom into being a surrogate. Fisrt they try the turkey baster, and when that doesn't work he has sex with her. He can't look at her so he cuts a hole in a bedsheet and puts that over her. She wants to remove the sheet because she can't breathe but he won't let her. Eventually he can't perform so the daughter has to get involved again. the whole situation is hilarious.

Man this show is almost reaching Family Guy hilarity for politically Incorrect dialogue. The last 2 shows has touched on ######ed people and homosexuals. Funny thing is both storylines are fighting for rights of both groups, but have lots of jokes at both groups expense.
Also the guy banging his girlfriends Mother so she can be a surrogate mother is hilarious.
