Given CP has members all around the world and the steaming services have different shows in different countries depending on the rights agreements it’s next to impossible to link a show to a service. For example me recommending Rick & Morty on Netflix is useless for anyone in Calgary or California.

I like this thread as general TV recommendations and individual posters can figure out how to watch locally.

Or Amazon, Roku and others too probably.

For sure, I guess. I'd imagine though that 95% of posters discussing shows and movies on here are in Canada.

We should just have little icons on our profiles that show what streaming services we subscribe to.

You just need to find a streaming "service" that has access to everything.

I think you'd be surprised. I bet it's lower than that.

IMO that's one of the tenets of a forum like CP. A way for people outside of Calgary to connect and discuss the Flames. And then they gravitate to other topics of interest.

I know some have recommended Yellowjackets on here and I really like it!

I am worried about the length of the series though. I heard they want five seasons, and I am not sure how you get that. plus a lot of mysteries is giving me Lost vibes (not in a good way)

But overall, currently it is good tv!

I watched the first episode and liked it, but just assumed it would be a one off series. How do you do 5 seasons????

If you're a fan of Rick & Morty, definitely give 'Solar Opposites' a try.

Its on Hulu.

Vigil is now on Crave. BBC 6ep Miniseries(?) by the same person who created Line of Duty about the disappearance of a fishing trawler and the murder aboard the Royal Navy's SSBN Vigil. If you like British copper shows aboard a nuclear submarines, this one's for you!

Even if it were censored, a “3” would have been than the “@“. Heck, anything would have been better than the “@“, and I like the use of saxophones in 80s pop music.

I like it, but I feel like for my murders on submarine tv series, I enjoyed The Investigation (also on Crave) more. I find the detective romance angle here kind of shoe-horned in and doesn’t add much.

The Landscapers is really good. More David Thewlis goodness. There’s a weird humour to it, like they just add some random absurdity to it, but it really works well here.

Yellowjackets has become nearly unwatchable, already. Unfortunately.
1 season could have been excellent.
At least his rate it won't come close to making 5 seasons.

Bummer, I was going to start this but sounds like it's not worth it?

Just finished Only Murders in the Building and it was surprisingly very good. Totally different show, but I get Ted Lasso vibes.
