Anne Rice passed away. I'm sad about this one. The Vampire Chronicles were some of my favorite reading back in the day.

Anne Rice can never pass away, she can only pass from sight.
She didnt write all those Vampire novels without some inside information...

Archbishop Desmond Tutu has passed away, more than a celebrity but rather a real humanitarian.

Norm!
He was such a giant and an amazing actor.
Its funny when you look at some of the real game changing movies that he stared in, then directed some really good nonsensical silly comedies.

A true giant. In the Heat of the Night, such a great movie (or that is how I remember it, haven't seen it in years now)

Uncle Chester
Peter Bogdanovich has died at 82. He directed some good/great films including - The Last Picture Show, What's Up, Doc? and Paper Moon. He participated in a TCM The Plot Thickens podcast last year that I enjoyed.

Very sad, the tweet he sent after midnight seemed positive and happy, then he's gone.
RIP

I wish I seen more of Bob Saget prior to his Full House work, I think I would have appreciated him more. Don’t think it was until “The Aristrocats” that I realized what a great comedian he was.
