League is straight trash.

Don’t think we would ever get to find out. The NHL. Would never put their little darlings in such a spot. Really, the league has to stop the molly coddling of that pitiful franchise. Butter soft schedules, ridiculous officiating it just goes on and on!!

Yeah went back and looked, it was onside but the point still stands. The Oilers get more breaks from the NHL than any franchise I have ever seen.

Well image is everything to them. They are your insecure narcissistic acquaintance that puts inordinate amounts of effort into conning people into believing they're something they are not.
The return of 'floppy Smith' is not something they can afford after the hype campaign they've mounted.
That illusion will be shattered when they play the proper good teams in their buildings, where they won't get PP gift baskets to keep them in the game.
