God there is not a flukier friggen franchise in the NHL. Makes me sick. I still want to see that earlier play again because this homer broadcast only showed one quick replay and I still think it was in.

I think too one of the biggest thing I’ve taken away from Bennett in his time as a flame (aside from the epic staches) is that one of his grandest if not thee grandest moments here was his 4 goal game… which came against the very team he was destined to go to. It’s damned hockey fate and I love it. So happy for Sam and he’s playing exactly like the player I was hoping for when the flames took him all those years ago! And I’m super pumped for you too Cali, I know just what kind of hockey fan you are and got a big time kick when you point yourself out when your at the game when the flames come to town. You’re a true fan of the Panthers and I’m happy to see your diehard fandom getting rewarded by pretty much every single aspect you could hope for in a team.

They’ve got a pedigree coach
Potentially incredible goalie tandem
Amazing top 6 fwd group solid bottom group as well
High end top 4 D

I think they’ve been sneaky good at getting better almost under the cover of night in a way. Could be a big player in that division especially if Tampa runs into cup hangover after two long runs.

Oh what a surprise!! Another Oilers powerplay. Why don’t you just give them the Cup and be done with it NHL.

Anaheim held their own and outplayed the Oilers 5on5 but a 6-1 PP advantage is the difference.

Who could've saw that coming?

Didn’t they have a full 2 min 5 on 3??? (While thinking they should have had another one)

It’s like they’re an original 6 team

Game is not over yet. They might arrange a Ducks PP just so it doesn't look so bad.

They basically have a really solid top 9 if they keep these lines:

Verhaege-Barkov-Duclair
Huberdeau-Bennett-Tippett
Vatrano-Lundell-Reinhart

That Lundell kid is amazing, I knew he was really good coming from Finland but I never thought he would be this good this fast. Gives me Mark Stone vibes, he's a puck hound and very cerebral. On top he has a killer shot.

If Anaheim gets somewhat fair officiating in this game they win going away.

A part of me hopes the grease keeps winning so it forces Treliving's hand to get Eichel

Ducks totally deserved the win. Hard to compete when there are 4 extra players on the ice for the Oilers though.
