nothing to see here, really. Ramsey is just being his usual obnoxious self.
But oh well, I guess if you decide you want to be an arrogant piece of ####, you better make sure you're as good as he is.

Not a chance. There are already 1,000 guys knocking on the door to the NHL that would do anything to take that next step. If all it took was skating for 8 hours everyday for a year, they would ALL make it.
Golf is a good example. There are 1,000 guys that hit the ball as well as the tour players. But the reason they make several million per year and the others don't is because they have that extra something that separates them (usually putting). One or two less putts per round and any of of those other guys is in the show.

He could maybe make something like div 3 mens no contact league.
Being athletic is the key to being a great football player.
Hockey is almost entirely skill based.
You can't overcome a 15 year skill deficit in 6 months.

He can run fast, tackle, and catch a football, he lacks to soft skills for hockey. The rule of thumb for mastering something is 10,000 hours, maybe he could do it in 5,000 but that's not 6 months.

I don't know who Jalen Ramsey is, but it sounds like he's full of sh-t.

I could see him making the NHL. Just not in 6 months. Maybe give him 2 years of training and a couple of years in the AHL.

If this was true, every team would just recruit athletes and train them to be NHLers.
But it is not true.

Ramsey is probably one of those typical American players that know nothing about hockey.

Careful, OP used the word ‘eh’ in writing.
You never know who may be American around here.

Jalen Ramsey also recently said that future HOF-er and perennially underrated Matt Ryan is ‘overrated’, so yeah he’s an idiot.

Michael Jordan is one of the greatest athletes ever and he couldn't make it when he tried a second sport.

Could be but he has a pretty good case. If you dive into the stats he’s already top 20 all time in every major QB stat category and will likely end up top 5-10 in most. I mean would you have thought that he’s number 5 all time in passing yards per game or that he was the fastest QB to throw for 40,000 yards?

I've assimilated too well methinks. Sometimes I even catch myself writing the word center as centre or adding "U"s in weird places. One time I even said zed instead of "Z"ee.

I feel like hockey fans have no idea who he is, and NFL fans don't care about hockey. Kind of takes both crowds out of it.

He's obviously joking. Being a Jaguars fan and a Ramsey fan, don't mind this at all.
Also, happy I got a Ramsey jersey this year.

And that second sport didn't require him to learn how to skate.

Which is it? The Lightning or Panthers closer to Jacksonville? Do what Doan and Fitzgerald did and go from there.

Of course he couldn't, but he is good at what he does. Matthew Tkachuk of football.
