Default Andersson will wear #4 this season.

If you can read anything into him getting an "actual" number and his chances to make the roster out of camp:

https://twitter.com/user/status/1034945416234655744

Also looks like Prout will get #6. Peluso #16. Rychel #39. Foo back to #15 after briefly giving it up to Glass.

Doesn't look like Jankowski is changing from #77.

edit: Also looks like Ehliz #50, Graovac #44, Robinson #53. Hogstrom #46. Quine sill unassigned.

And if you missed it they already announced a few months ago Neal #18, Hanifin #55, Lindholm #28, Ryan #10, Czarnik #27.

Nice! #4 is a sexy number for a Dman.

Just like #77 for a centre.

As a Calgary flame? I hope so.

I have an appetite to see some promotions on the back end this year. Not just more coffee dates.

Or are you thinking of #44 around that time. That I'd like to forget.

I hate to say it because I think Stone can be an effective NHL defenseman, but if he plays like he did last year it'll be Kulak/Andersson with Stone riding the pine. Kulak was the better of the two most of the time.

Kylington-Andersson
Kulak
Stone

... is really the dream. I doubt that Peters is willing to risk it though (understandably).

Good for Andersson, he's going to to legitimately push for a roster sport ou t of camp. Could be some tough decisions for the coaching staff. Don't forget Valimaki and Kylington aren't far behind.

Remember: Foo got 15 out of camp last year and didn't make the team.

77 is just a sick number in general. Glad he's keeping it.
