Garage Door - Repair/Replacement

There are some old threads about recommendations for garage door repairs, but none of them had many posts regarding costs.

If we're lucky our current door can be salvaged, but if not then we need a full 'panel' to be replaced. The previous owners ran into it with their car at some point (there's a big dent) and I'm guessing stress over time ended up wearing down some of the brackets that have now ripped out. So it might even be best to get a full new door.

How much have people paid in the past for repairs? What about a full replacement of the door?

I had to get my lower panel replaced. The bottom rusted out. I used Darren @ Deputy Doors. Awesome guy. Great, fast service and his prices were good.

Previously I had called two other outfits and both of them told me I had to replace my whole door for the tune of $3200. F' them.

we replaced our door two or so years ago. Went with Action Door and it was close to $2,000 installed and they hauled the old one away. However, I should note that I opted for a garage door with windows and the highest R rating I could get.

I beleive that was with springs as well.

I called a couple of other places and as i recall the price was pretty similar.
