This analysis lacks logic IMO and overemphasizes the importance of your own list.
Of course it uses my own list.

If I've watched the players, and made my own analysis of who is better, and then I give MY OWN OPINION on who did best on draft day, I'm going to use my own opinion of the players drafted to evaluate the list. My rankings and scouting reports didn't change because of whose name got picked first. Mike McCarron didn't become a better prospect in my eyes because he was drafted 25th, Emile Poirier is not better (in my eyes) than Hunter Shinkaruk because he was picked before him.......

Yes, it relies on my list, what else is it supposed to rely on?

Its my critique and a wrap up article to 12 months of viewing players, and 3 months of writing reports on them.

And yes Calgary did well in getting Monahan, but just having a top 10 pick is not gonna put you in the top 5 without following that up... hated the Poirier pick, didn't like Kanzig, liked (not loved) Klimchuk at that spot, liked Roy a lot for the round.. Thats a solid top 10 day of work, but not in the top 5.

I am pretty impressed that Sam Cosentino correctly picked all three flames first round picks (albeit, switching the order between Klimchuck and Poirier).
