As dumb as they are, boomers have lived experience of the time before vaccination regimes (or had parents who lived through it and told them) and even they aren't stupid enough to desire a return.
This is really sweet summer child syndrome. We experience so little external threat in life that we forget how devastating it can be and thus lose focus on preventing it.
The same is likely to occur with aggression and war (looks at the global geopolitical situation nervously.)
