The Bone Thugs & Harmony monologue on Mulaney tonight was wild. I was so invested.

I so badly wanted someone from the band or their agent to call in.

They did, and John hung up. That's what I like to believe, anyway.

Watched all 4 available seasons of Yellowstone finally. It's okay. I mean Costner is always good in a western motif. Kelly Reilly doing the biggest overacting job I ever watched. But it was fine. I could even get past the blowhard Tyler Sharidan corboy love in.

Now I need to watch 5.1 and 5.2 to finish this and move on.

The prequel series 1883 and 1923 are the superior shows.

I'm convinced that every Mulaney set piece is really a sketch that got cut from SNL and this is just a big "Second Chance Theatre"

I love it.

Letterman seemed to be thrilled and fascinated by Mulaney's chaotic style. I'm looking forward to Conan's reaction next week. Feels like he'll take full advantage it.

“Do you want to be less vulnerable, science? Get better messengers. The people they push out there like Bill Nye and don’t get me started on that Neil deGrasse Tyson,” Mulaney joked. “Don’t make that guy your front-facing dude! He dresses like he parks cars at the Magic Castle.”

Great moment from this week's Everybody's Live.

It was also a good example of how average people think their common sense disproves science, when he was pretty confidently wrong about a lot of dino-things.

Can't overlook that the real Chuck Tingle called in to talk about his dino erotica.
The fact I knew it was him when he talked about losing his award made be proud and ashamed at the same time.

Conan loved the insanity.

So what are the odds Mulaney will actually fight the three 14 year olds?

I was really trying to imagine how that was going to look as the camera kept cutting to him. Richard doesn't seem to big on the idea. I think he lasts 20 seconds before curling up in a ball and giving up.

Netflix and documentarian Brian Knappenberger's latest Turning Point docuseries dropped last week and it's another home run. Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror, Turning Point: The Bomb And The Cold War and now Turning Point: The Vietnam War.

The third episode covers The Tet Offensive and the My Lai massacre.

Will be hard to top Ken Burn’s already excellent Vietnam series.

Its not necessarily about 'topping it' rather than potentially offering a different perspective, although Burns' doc was fairly comprehensive.

I'll give it a whirl though.

Probably wrong choice of words - not sure what more could be added. Interestingly, I guess I wasn’t the only one with that thought.

I mean...I see where they're going but I'm still interested. They're saying that this documentary has an inherently 'American' slant to it, but...that being said, the Americans are really the ones who royally screwed that pooch.

Its a very interesting time in Global politics and the Americans were largely the ones pooping in the pool.
