There are, in fact, no actual nominees.
They simply list the top 3 vote getters after the voting is completed to establish some sense of suspense.

I think it's hilarious the have back-to-back Harts and Art Ross' but have zero playoff wins in that timeframe.
In fact, they have 4 of the last 5 Art Ross wins, and 3 of the last 5 Harts.
Loilers.

In the last ten years, the only Art Ross winner to make it out of the first round was Crosby in 13/14.
Oddly, Tampa got swept the year Kucherov won three awards.

Correct. SN said this morning that this is only the 2nd time ever.
Crazy to think Gretzky was only the unanimous MVP once, considering how many remarkable seasons he had.
