Lol what did you really expect blaster?? It’s a Flames forum and your in the Canada wins gold thread where a Flames player got the MVP and you’ve turned it into a pissing match about how Hamonic is ‘doing the same job for much less’ as Tanev who pulled top minutes for us all year and returned Gio to normal after he played on what was considered by some as the top pairing with Hanifin for much of the year and while playing through significant injuries throughout. It’s absolutely laughable to make that argument but to make that argument here and try and dig up old trade wounds while your at it is just bizarre. Supermatt comes in and speaks to your defence around how you portrayed Tanev and you play the victim card but I honestly don’t know what more you expected and I think ‘Mess’ holds a pretty solid point. And I actually dig you as a poster as I do much of the ‘other team’s fans’ posters in here but don’t expect sympathy when your dishing jabs and derailing threads.

I didn't expect anything? I think Tanev has been phenomenal for the Flames. I think he provided more for the Flames than he would have for the Canucks. I think Calgary is a fantastic place for Tanev after how this season went for him.

As far as expecting sympathy, I really don't. I do expect accurate insults though. If I let people get away with terrible ones you guys will begin to think that's acceptable. Can't have it.

Hamonic is a fine player and I wouldn't be disappointed to see him return to Calgary on a cheap deal at some point.

He was nowhere near as good as Tanev last season. Comparing the jobs the two did is absurd, honestly.

Well if you're going to designate yourself as the judge of what constitutes terrible insults, you might want to start with the one you posted, which generated this whole line of discussion:
