icon53 Dude customizes bike as Flames tribute

https://www.pinkbike.com/news/bike-c...ry-flames.html

Quote:
I wanted the bike to remind me of home, having moved out west last fall and having travel restricted, I found myself missing home over the winter, and would often reminisce on playing hockey at the outdoor rinks with all my buddies through the frigid winter months. I also distinctly remember the Blasty jerseys from when I first started getting into hockey watching the Flames make it to the Stanley cup final in 04' and getting hooked on the game.
A couple of stickers on a custom bike, but hey it's the thought that counts.

Admittedly I read that as ‘Dube customizes bike...’at quick glance and clicked right into the article after opening the thread selfishly hoping for a cool motorcycle bike that Dube did up while getting an injury update or something...

That bike is gorgeous. Wish I had an extra $15k lying around.

I didn't think it would be street legal to ride around in a flaming dumpster.

Well, it's a lot less obnoxious than that McDavid car.

Can't say I like the look of that much, particularly when it's compared to the Jurassic Park one his friend did (linked in the article).

Also, that's no place for a brown saddle!

If it wasn't for the horse head sticker I'd have no idea that bike had anything to do with the Flames.

The stripes looks more like the Canucks colours.

Clickbait!

Nice ride! I would've put more Flaming red and yellow to the frame to make it look like it'll burn through the trails.
