I actually hope the Jets sweep them because it'll make Leafs and Oilers fans even angrier.

So the combined win total between these 2 teams is 54 in 112 games. Let that sink in to how terrible this division/series is.

They both have goalies that can carry a series though. And maybe one of the few that could stand a chance against the Avalanche firepower. (although its not like the Fleury/Lehner combo is a bad one).

Come playoff time having the best goalie is a big equalizer. Generally heading into round 1 the Jets and Habs had the goaltending advantage. And both Price and Hellebuyck found that top form they didn’t have in the regular season in the playoffs.

Also I think all the excessive media talk about Oilers-Leafs round 2 willed this match up into happening, the hockey gods always laugh at that premature talk. (Looks at talk of Flames-Oilers series in 05-06)

Jets in 6

It’s so delicious that I now love both of these teams.

Taking into account the goaltending, I think the Jets take the series in 6.

I also think the Jets take it with a heavier, more playoff seasoned team than either the Leafs or Habs.

Is that allowed?

Ask nnr mavI if the Jets care what's allowed!

Winner of this series gets the honor of getting swept by the Avalanche or Vegas.

Well at least it’s the two least hateable teams going through. Now Winnipeg needs to lose.

Imagine how many wins they would have outside the Northern Division.

Go Jets! Cheering for them these playoffs. Will hate them as soon as they are out or win the cup.
